A 69-year-old woman was found dead in a medical complex in Pasadena Sunday, authorities said.
The woman's body was found around 2:55 p.m. near the intersection of Alessandro Place and Fair Oaks Avenue, Lt. Mark Goodman of the Pasadena Police Department said.
The woman was found on the north end of a parking lot and pronounced dead at the scene, Goodman said. The lieutenant said it appeared the woman was the victim of an assault.
Police were investigating the death as a homicide.
