“Miscommunication” in Ebola Scare at LAX

A passenger exhibiting flu-like symptoms on a flight to LAX caused an Ebola scare after she said she had visited Africa. LAFD Capt. Jaime Moore said there was some miscommunication in the incident, and that the woman ha not visited South Africa and that there was “no reason to believe” she had the Ebola virus.
