Elementary School Crash Reignites Concerns Over Senior Drivers

Senior drivers, on average, get into fewer collisions than their teen counterparts. But teens’ driving improves with age, not so with seniors. About 71,000 California drivers are older than 90, a demographic brought into the spotlight after a 100-year-old man backed his vehicle into a crowd of people – mostly children – near a South LA elementary school Wednesday.
