Jury Rejects Excessive Force Claim in 2012 Fatal Anaheim Police Shooting

Anaheim police officer Nicholas Bennallack did not use excessive force when he shot and killed an unarmed man in 2012, a jury decided on Thursday. The case has sparked outrage and protests, and victim Manuel Diaz’s mother said she was disappointed in the jury’s ruling on Thursday.
