Calif. Teen Finds Way to Charge Phone in 20 Seconds

Eesha Khare, a high school student in San Jose, decided to find a solution to a problem she and her friends constantly complain about: cellphone battery life. Khare’s invention, which charges phones as fast as 20 seconds, earned her an award and $50,000 from Intel. This video aired on the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on June 5, 2013.
