Hello Endeavour, Goodbye Trees

More than 400 trees need to be cut down along the space shuttle Endeavour’s route from LAX to the California Science Center in Exposition Park. The trees will be replaced and some were already slated to be cut down, but residents and experts say there could be a better plan. Center president Jeff Rudolph says he understands the irony in his mission to educate youth about nature and forcing the removal of hundreds of trees, adding the benefits outweigh the cons.
