Cutbacks Affecting Math and Engineering Courses at Odds with National Need

A proposal from Gov. Jerry Brown to reduce California high-school graduation requirements for science has raised concerns about whether the increased need for math and engineering students will be met. Reduced core course offerings at cash-strapped community colleges are also at issue. NBC4’s Conan Nolan reports.
