Torrance Coyote Trapping Draws Protests

After numerous sightings and attacks on pets by coyotes in the area, Torrance has decided to place coyote snare traps in coyote hot zones. This measure was met with resistance from wildlife activists, who say the measure is endangering wildlife and is a temporary solution to a long-term problem.
