Driver in Infamous SoCal Pursuit Turns Life Around

Alisha Mankin admits she was high on meth when she led police on a wild chase for nearly three hours in 2009. Mankin used a stolen U-Haul to evade officers until the van ran out of gas. She says that chase “saved my life,” and inspired her to get clean and become “an awesome mom.” Colleen Williams reports for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on May 22, 2013.
