Eight states, FTC sue to block Kroger-Albertsons supermarket merger

California joined the Federal Trade Commission and eight other states in a lawsuit that would stop the supermarket merger of Kroger and Albertsons, claiming it would reduce competition and shoppers’ options while increasing prices. Ted Chen reports for the NBC4 News on Feb. 26, 2024.
