Extreme Heat Keeps Vendors Away From Riverside Farmers Market

Temperatures were already triple digits by midday in Riverside on Wednesday, prompting most vendors at the city’s Farmer’s Market to bypass the weekly event. The vendors who did show up say they had to sell their produce because it would not withstand the heat. Craig Fiegener reports from Riverside for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on August 8, 2012.
