Store Clerk Was Looking For New Job When She Was Killed

The family of a Chino store clerk who was shot to death during a robbery at the check cashing store where she worked remembered the young victim as “beautiful” and “awesome.” Vanessa Martinez was planning to leave her job, and often feared for her safety at the store.
