Dangerously Close to Homes, Lookout Fire Puts Up a Fight

A dangerous fire broke out Wednesday near a mostly deserted community in Santa Barbara. Officials expected to contained the blaze by Thursday morning, but not before it disrupted residents in the Painted Cave area. One resident’s home was just a few hundred yards from the fire line.
