LA Schools Improve on Standardized Tests

For the first time ever, Roosevelt Magnet School passed the state’s benchmark score of 800 out of 1,000 on the Academic Performance Index (API). It’s one of several LA schools that showed improvement after being taken over by the nonprofit Partnership for Los Angeles. Angie Crouch reports from Boyle Heights on Aug. 29, 2013.
