LADWP Testing Stronger Pipes Before “Big One”

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s aging and corroding network of more than 7000 miles of pipe means daily ruptured. The utility is testing water pipes that have been very successful in Japan, even following major earthquakes. Chuck Henry reports for the NBC4 News at 11 on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014.
