Lawmakers Demand Review of Agency that Polices Polluters

At least four senators are behind the demand for an independent investigation of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), the agency that is supposed to protect the public from poisons dumped into the water and soil. Lawmakers are determined to find out why the organization is not enforcing California’s pollution laws. Joel Grover reports for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2013.
