Family Hails Mother Killed in DTLA Crash as a Hero

Ana Sylvia Ramirez, 53, was killed Sunday when a driver lost control along Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. As they grieved, Ramirez’s children lauded their mother as a hero who pushed their father out of the way as the truck rushed toward them. Jane Yamamoto reports from Downtown LA for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on March 11, 2013.
