CEO of the California Hospital Association Daune Dauner talks with NBC4’s Conan Nolan about Prop. 52. The commercials are all over television. What is this prop., why is it necessary and why is there no opposition? Basically, Prop. 52 is trying to guarantee medical payments to hospitals. What is happening is that the current law is set to expires at the end of 2017. Now proponents want this funding to be part of the state constitution. If not, certain hospitals are in danger of closing says Duaner.
