New Campaign Aims to Curb Deaths at Rail Crossings

An NBC4 investigation found that California leads the nation in deaths at railroad crossings, a tragedy that safety officials are trying to curb. September has been deemed Rail Safety Month, and rail cars covered in messages to “Stay Alert, Stay Alive” are now rolling along Southland tracks.
