Mapping System Could Predict Wildfire Behavior

In 1993, Shea Broussard’s home was burned in the Topanga Fire that ripped through Malibu. Then 8 years old, Broussard says he was inspired to help. Decades later, Broussard teamed up with a retired LA firefighter to create a computer mapping system aimed at predicting the behavior of wildfires.
