NBC4’s Conan Nolan in depth interview with Ca. Senate President Darrell Steinberg continues. Senator Steinberg is passionate about a number of bills, one them dealing with education. Here, he discusses his bill–which was signed by Gov. Jerry Brown–to re-establish career education. Not everybody is meant to go to college. Time is now, he says, to connect public education and industries. Another bill he is passionate about deals with guns–which the governor vetoed.
