NewsConference: Redistricting Commissioner Maria Blanco and Doug Johnson, Rose Institute

The very controversial redistricting maps came out this past week which could change the political landscape of our state– who will be your political representative, how many seats democrats or republicans will gain or decrease. This is the first draft by the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, a commission made up of ordinary citizens who wanted to make a difference. NBC LA talked to Commissioner Maria Blanco and redistricting expert Doug Johnson from the Rose Institute at Claremont McKenna College.
