Phones Across SoCal Buzz With Amber Alerts

The search for a San Diego County man and two children prompted authorities to issue an Amber Alert that came through on smartphones across the region. The alert’s jarring sound surprised many who didn’t know they were signed up for the messages. Mekahlo Medina reports for the NBC4 News at Noon on Aug. 6, 2013.
