The Powerhouse Fire north of Santa Clarita has charred more than 3,600 acres, and the blaze was 15 percent contained Saturday afternoon. Evacuations were in effect near Lake Hughes, including homes, a campground and a juvenile detention facility. Some 958 firefighters were attacking the blaze.
