Doctor: Gun Ownership “Relevant” in Mental Health Treatment

President Barack Obama’s new gun control proposals would give mental health professionals special responsibilities to identify dangerous patients. The new “duty to warn” law would make psychiatrists and counselors liable if they do not report a threat. This is already standard practice in California.
