Former Assemblyman: Prop 28 Term Limits Would Let Politicians “Learn Their Subject Matter”

Former assemblyman Dario Frommer says current term limits force politicians out of their positions regardless of productivity or success. Under Proposition 28, term limits would be raised to 12 years in the legislature without the possiblility of reelection. Frommer says this change, set to be voted on during the June 5 primary, would allow representatives to learn their constituents and “be an effective legislator.” Conan Nolan reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on May 31, 2012.
