Rescuer Helps Dog Escape Canal Before Storm

A rescuer desperately searching for a scared, skittish dog seen wandering in a Mid-City canal earlier this week was united with the pup in a tearful first meeting Friday night. Dakota will get medical care, get microchipped, and go into a foster home before he will go up for adoption. Our report on the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2014.
