Santa Monica considers land restitution for descendants of Black entrepreneur

The Santa Monica City Council voted toward possible land restitution for Black investor Silas White’s family after the city took the land he had purchased to develop the Ebony Beach Club through eminent domain in the 1950s. Jonathan Gonzalez reports for the NBC4 News on March 20, 2024.
