Seneca Orange County

Since its founding in 1985, Seneca Family of Agencies has become the largest child welfare nonprofit organization in the state of California providing care and services to more than 8,000 children statewide.

The Southern California headquarters are located in Tustin, with remote offices in Pasadena and Redlands, and a 4.5 acre ranch in Anaheim. Our programs focus on finding permanent placement for children in foster care and supporting families after an adoption is finalized.

More than 1,100 children are served through Seneca OC programs, which include Adoption and Foster Care, Children’s Mental Health clinic, Equine therapy, Wraparound, and Family Finding.

Seneca OC is searching for volunteers to help with GAIT, Guided Animal Intervention Therapy, where horses are instrumental in helping children heal after experiencing severe emotional or physical trauma. The GAIT Program needs to strengthen its volunteer program in order to meet the growing number of children that we serve locally.  To volunteer, click here.
