Proposal to Cap a Fwy for a Park Moves Closer to Reality

Caps over freeways to make use of the space and reconnect severed communities have become a recurring vision of urban planners, though few have been realized in Southern California. But a mile-long, 40 acre park over the 101 Freeway through Hollywood may now be within two years of breaking ground. Patrick Healy reports for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015.
