Teacher: 11-Year-Old Girl is “Someone to Look Up To”

Jacky Angeles lost both of her parents by age 11 and had her leg amputated when she was 7. Despite a lifetime of heartache, she lives by her father’s mantra to study hard. A stellar student, Jacky says she wants to be doctor. Vikki Vargas reports for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Oct. 23, 2012.
