Thousands of Firefighters Battle Silver Fire

A “dangerous” wildfire burning between Banning and Idyllwild continued to grow Thursday, and began to move east toward the resort town of Palm Springs. Four firefighters suffered minor injuries from smoke inhalation, and several communities were evacuated. Conan Nolan reports from Beaumont for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8, 2013.
