U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee Asks for Rule Change to Allow Athletes to Protest at Olympic Events

Symbolic gestures have previously been forbidden for athletes at Olympic events, but Friday the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee asked for a rule change that will allow athletes to “peacefully” and “respectfully” protest at Olympic events.
