Valley Residents, Fire Crews Try to Beat the Heat

Local residents were trying to find ways to cool down as the temperatures went up Friday. Excessive heat warnings were issued across Southern California. Firefighters, dressed in layers of equipment, were concerned about keeping hydrated in the heat. Gordon Tokumatsu reports from Chatsworth for the NBC4 News at 5 and 6 p.m. on June 28, 2013.
