Crash Ends Chase After Driver Thwarts Cops Twice

It took a spike strip and two PIT maneuvers to stop a pick-up truck. The pursuit finally ended when an officer slammed it into a tree, sending a man and a woman fleeing from the still-moving vehicle. Both are in custody. Gadi Schwartz reports from Northridge for NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2013.
