Would-Be Rescuers Electrocuted in Valley Village

Two women were electrocuted Wednesday night after apparently trying to help the driver of a car who slammed his vehicle into a fire hydrant and a utility pole. The downed power lines electrified the water from the gushing hydrant. Alex Calder reports from News Chopper 4 above Valley Village for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2012.
