Two men were killed Saturday night in a shooting in the Florence neighborhood in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
It was reported at 8:05 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Main Street, Lt. Ted Urena of the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Street Station said.
One man died at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper body where he later died, Urena said.
The suspect drove up, got out, shot the men and fled in a vehicle, he said.
A crime scene investigation was underway, he said.
