In July, the "Autism Bill" SB 946 goes into effect.

It mandates insurance coverage of behavioral health treatments if a patient has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or suffers from a persistent developmental disorder.

This change will affect many families, although they may not know how it will help them.

That's where we come in.

On Monday from, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., we're providing a live call-in center staffed with insurance experts to talk to you and answer your questions.

Here's how to participate.

By Phone: 855-883-0620

By Facebook: One of our experts will be dedicated to answering your questions on Facebook. You can leave a post either on the main NBC LA Facebook page here, or on Dr. Bruce Hensel's Facebook page here.

By Email: You can send your questions to nbc4you@nbcuni.com.
