A 28-year-old woman found shot to death near the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area was identified Thursday.
Evelyn Dominguez's body was discovered in the 12200 block of Rooks Road about 5:35 a.m. Wednesday, said Deputy Aura Sierra of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau and the coroner's office.
``The woman had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso,''Sierra said in a statement.
