Police Warn of Follow-Home Robberies

Two follow-home robberies has residents on the lookout

South Pasadena police warned area residents Saturday about a pair of follow-home robbers.

In San Gabriel, Monterey Park, Alhambra and South Pasadena, about 15 follow-home robberies have occurred since mid-March, typically at night, from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., said Joseph Payne of South Pasadena Police Department.

The two men are suspected in a March 24 robbery in the 1900 block of Primrose Avenue, near Huntington Drive, in South Pasadena and several other follow-home robberies, said Payne.

Both carry guns and are in their 20s, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. One victim was pistol-whipped.

South Pasadena police urged anyone who believes they are being followed home to drive to the nearest police station and call for help.
