Streets Closed, No Parking Near Beverly Hilton for Sunday's Golden Globes

While the Golden Globes is rolling out the red carpet for the stars, drivers in Beverly Hills can expect to roll right on by some empty parking spaces and closed-off streets.

Santa Monica Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and Century Park East will be closed until midnight to keep the event secure at the Beverly Hilton, host of the 72nd Golden Globes, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Whittier Drive from Lomitas Avenue to Wilshire Bouelvard is closed to all but residents of the street on Sunday.

Parking restrictions were also being put in place on the following streets from 6 a.m. to midnight:

- Elevado Drive, between Wilshire Boulevard and Walden Drive
- Trenton Drive, between Whittier Drive and Wilshire Boulevard
- Carmelita Avenue, between Wilshire Boulevard and Walden Drive
- Walden Drive, between Santa Monica Boulevard and Whittier Drive
