Update: 2 Ventura County Teens Found Safe: Sheriff
Authorities searched for two Ventura County teens on Thursday after the pair were reported missing in the early-morning hours.
The couple, Nicholas Marino, 13, and Kaylee Rebert, 14, were thought to have ventured into Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks, where a police bloodhound traced their scent.
Chris Marino found her son missing from and called Ventura County Sheriff's Department about 1 a.m. It soon became apparent that the girl he was dating, Rebert, was also missing from her family's home nearby.
"Kaylee, we love you and miss you very much. We've never been so concerned for your safety," said the girl's father Dan Rebert at an afternoon news conference. "You're not gonna be in any trouble, Kaylee. We just want you to come home safely."
Chris Mario, Nicholas' mother, tearfully asked for help finding her son.

Deputy Tim Lohman said a sheriff's department dog tracked the pair from their homes to Lynn Road, then to Wildwood Park, a nearly 1,750-acre favorite retreat for hikers.
He said investigators were looking a social media sites associated with the teens.
More than two dozen searchers hit the trails and helicopters scanned the area from above.
But the couple had not been discovered as the end of the day neared.
