NBC4’s Conan Nolan talks with Carmela Coyle, President and CEO of the California Hospital Association, about a new controversial bill in Sacramento that would — depending on what side you are on — either increase or decrease what you pay when you go see a doctor or go to a hospital. Assembly bill – 3087 California Health Care Cost, Quality and Equity Commission – would create a state commission that would set prices for doctor visits, hospital stays and almost every other procedure covered by insurance companies.
