NewsConference: Debating Raising LA's Minimum Wage

This Tuesday, Los Angeles City Council is expected to ask City Attorney Mike Feuer to draft an ordinance that would raise the minimum wage from $9 to $15 within the next five years. The unprecedented move is still open for debate. NBC4’s Conan Nolan talks to both side of the issue: Representing the employees is Kathy Hoang, Executive Director of the Restaurant Opportunities Center of LA (ROC-LA), and representing the business side is Ruben Gonzales, senior VP of Public Policy and Political Affairs at the LA Chamber of Commerce.
