Larry David Golfs With the President

Obama foursome also included former U.S. trade representative Ron Kirk and businessman Glenn Hutchins, a part owner of the Boston Celtics.

For Larry David, playing golf with POTUS must be prettaay, prettaay, prettaay good.

President Barack Obama was wrapping up his Martha's Vineyard vacation by hitting the links with the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star. No word on if the comedian swiped a 5-wood for the occasion.

The unlikely Obama foursome Saturday also included former U.S. trade representative Ron Kirk and businessman Glenn Hutchins, a part owner of the Boston Celtics.

Earlier in the week, David and singer Carly Simon were also reportedly among those who attended a cocktail party for Obama on Martha's Vineyard hosted by Comcast CEO Brian Roberts. (Comcast is the parent company of NBCUniversal.)

David has owned a house on Martha's Vineyard for years, according to the New York Daily News.

Much of the new HBO film "Clear History," written by and starring David, takes place on the island south of Cape Cod, Mass.

Obama has golfed most days there during his weeklong getaway, which ends Sunday. Obama spent a couple hours Saturday morning with his wife and daughters on a private beach on the island's south shore.

The first family is staying in a secluded four-bedroom rental home in Chilmark. The president has kept a low profile during his stay. He spoke out publicly only once, to condemn escalating violence in Egypt.
