Taylor Swift Returns to Pa. Hometown for Wedding

Pop superstar Taylor Swift returned to her hometown over the weekend where she served as the maid of honor in her friend’s wedding. 

Swift’s childhood friends Britany Maack and Benjamin LaManna tied the knot in Reading, Pennsylvania, Saturday. Swift posted photos from the wedding on her Instagram page.

"I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten," she wrote. "Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!"

Swift was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, and attended Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School as a teenager.

The wedding occurred less than a week after Swift's hit album "1989" won Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
