Driver May Face Charges in Collision With Parked Cars

The crash in Grantville pushed an F-150 into a nearby cable box

    The driver held a towel up to stop the bleeding on his face as emergency personnel treated him at the scene of the collision.

    A driver was hospitalized after slamming into several parked cars in Grantville Wednesday.

    The driver’s car collided with a parked red sedan on Mission Gorge Road.

    The driver then headed up Twain, apparently turned around, and crossed over lanes, plowing into a pickup truck.

    One resident said the impact of the crash sent his parked F-150 truck into a utility box and knocked the box into a nearby BMW.

    The driver had several deep cuts on his face when emergency crews arrived. Officials transported him to Sharp Hospital for treatment.

    He may face charges of driving under the influence, officials said.
