You don’t know what their situations are, times are hard for everyone people are being laid off from their jobs, even people who work for unemployment, there pay was cut in half.... Here we have a man who is doing a good deed for the community, and here we have negative individuals such as you selves raining on this joyful moment. These are the times that we should start working and sticking together, doesn’t change mean anything! Instead of you complaining, why don’t you sit down and think of ways to try and help, because out of those 10,000 people that stood in line, I’m pretty sure most of them do want jobs, and a good home, and to be able to provide for their families. Mr. EJ Jackson is a good man and he stepped up to the plate to help the community (which he has been doing for years) what you are doing! Last time I checked we live in America, a free country, where it's citizens are offered a chance to DO ANYTHING they set their mind to, yes even disabled persons. There is 3rd generation welfare recipients living off of the government, by choice, not necessity. So if you have 7 hours to sit in line for a free meal, you have 7 hours to sweep a warehouse or mow a lawn and EARN that meal. You ignorance is beyond me. America is still and always will be the best place to be, and I will remain ever hopeful ever for you.. I myself have not been on for more than 50 years but know enough that they stopped giving giving checks bi monthly checks at least 5years ago! The waiting list for Section 8 is 8 years and affordable safe housing in that area is non existent, as is via employment and/or child care! Why don' t YOU PEOPLE QUIT BUILDING LIQUOR STORES AND BUILD MORE PROGRAMS THAT INVITE CHANGE! ... MORE >
