A burned body was discovered Wednesday inside a trash bin in Acton.
Sheriff's homicide detectives responded to the 6800 block of Sierra Highway after the report, which was received at about 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Details were not immediately available, but authorities confirmed later Wednesday that the victim is male and suffered burns.
