Authorities took a driver into custody Monday on a 10 Freeway exit ramp in the Mid City area.
The driver of the black Ford Mustang was westbound on the 10 Freeway, just southwest of downtown Los Angeles, at midday when he failed to yield to law enforcement officers. The driver exited at Overland Avenue and surrendered to California Highway Patrol officers on the exit ramp.
The California Highway Patrol told NBC4 that a man reported his son took the vehicle without permission.
